The 47thAnnual Summerset Regatta, hosted by the Caloosahatchee Marching and Chowder Society Sailing Club will be held October 5 through October 7, 2012.  Sail the Tradition attracts top sailors from Marco Island to Tampa Bay.  Traditionally, boats from Southwest Florida participate in the Buoy Races on Saturday and the Coastal Race held off Fort Myers Beach on Sunday.

As a Sponsor, there are several planned events that your sponsorship will help to underwrite.  More importantly it will help the event produce a profit, more than half of which will be donated to youth sailing clubs based equally on the address of the sponsors and the homeport of the participants.  Thousands of dollars were donated to youth sailing last year.  The Skippers Meeting will be on Friday, October 5th and the Awards Dinner will be in the evening of Sunday, October 7th.

Summerset Regatta $250 Gold Sponsors receive the following benefits:

  • Your name or company name listed on the more than 200 event tee shirts.  Business logos and names will be on the back.  Boat names on the sleeves.
  • A complimentary 100% cotton tee shirt.
  • We will include in the 65 skippers bags any promotional items you provide.
  • Your name or business name will be listed in the November CMCS newsletter, the Chowder Chatter, and linked to the CMCS website for one year.
  • We will display your banner at some time during the event.
  • Invitation to the Summerset Poolside Cocktail Party on Saturday.

Summerset Regatta $100 Silver Sponsors receive the following benefits:

  • Your name or company name listed on the more than 200 event tee shirts.  Business names will be on the back.  Boat names on the sleeves.
  • A complimentary 100% cotton tee shirt.

Enclosed is the Sponsorship Form to complete and return by AUGUST 25, 2012.  For the purposes of tee shirt recognition, in kind support will be valued at 50% of retail.
